This annual event continues to be the AZMSA Banner Event! We had close to 300 people attending and everyone got at least 1 D E L I C I O U S steak. The barbequers extraordinaire are all staff from the Town of Gilbert. Another job well done guys.
Chapter President; Curtis Yardley of the Town of Gilbert presented the winners with their trophies and prizes as well as an award to Janell Russell; Administrative Assistant who has announced her retirement this year. She has been an intregal part of the process to pull off an event like the Tom Sheetz Memorial Rodeo. Happy trails to you Janell.
The prestigious “Superintendent of the Year” Award was presented to James Thornton III from the city of Tempe. James is on the AZ chapter E-Board and has been diligent in assisting us with the coordination of our Golf Tournament and the Vendor Appreciation date in December. Congratulations James.
Just as important is our “Vendor of the Year” award that was presented to Brian Barnum with Southwest Slurry. Brian has been a Vendor Representative on our board for many years and earned his stripes by keeping us on track. Thanks again Brian and keep up the good work.
The Town of Gilbert ran away with the “Best of the Best” this year.
